File sharing is when you transmit files from one computer to another computer over a network or through the internet. P2P File sharing or peer to peer file sharing is when you share digital media such as music over with a person that has P2P software. Some examples are sharing music or videos and watching television shows or movies or different sites with pirated movies. In the article " Digital Pirates winning Battle with studies" they say that many of these sites are in countries where they do very little in piracy efforts so most studios cannot account for how content is being stolen. |
